My Golden Pearl Gourami, Bubbles, is having a bit of an attitude. He is about 3.5 inches long and has been living peacefully with his tankmates.
Suddenly, about two weeks ago, he started getting territorial after mealtime. Not before. Not during. Just after. I think my other fish are hiding from him because they are afraid. MY chili rasboras, sawbwa rasboras, fire ring danios and amano shrimp used to come out much more often. I am not sure if it us primarily because of Bubbles' bad behavior or the foreground plants getting too tall (because they're not what I ordered). Any ideas?
I've tried spreading out the feeding process (now up to all 4 corners), feeding twice a day, sinking pellets. I have attached a photo of Mr. Bubbles and my 36 gallon tank. All parameters tested perfect.
