Strange platy

Hello! I've had three blue coral platys for a few months now, and over that period of time, my male has slowly started to turn orange starting with his dorsal fin, it's really weird. And now, his current mate is doing it too. What's happening?



And you can't really see, but his scales are beginning to turn too.

Where they young when you bought them?

a lot of fish generally change color as they age. i wouldn't worry about it.
