Strange Water Tests

Been checking my 38 Gal aquarium regularly and for the past few days I get ZERO for all--Ammonia, Nitrites AND Nitrates.. How can that be?? you would think the Nitrates have to be going up, no?? (API Master Kit). Thanks

Are you mixing the Nitrate test vorrectly. In the API thats the one where you shake bottle 2 for 30 secs add to the tube with bottle one in it which has been inverted several times. Then shake the tube for 1 min. Is the test kit still in date or had it been stored correctly? IDK just some ideas.

Well this time i did the Nitrate test the way it is supposed to be done and got a better result! my bad!
