Ok I have a acrylic box of fry in my main. It has holes drilled in all four sides to allow clean water in and dirty out. I have had it set up for about 3 weeks. Today I lost 2 fry. I have no reason why. Water is perfect ammo 0 and nitrates 5. No changes at all. Now my stupid question is I put an airstone in with the fry. It really gets the current going in thier little box. Can an airstone cause too much flow in the little box killing or weakining the fry..OR do you just loose a few? I look the stone out for this pic...But you get the idea

You could go get a regulator valve for the air flow and turn it way down. Just allowing a little bit of air through that stone for them.

Petco has em really cheap.

I may do that I actually have one...I just didnt think bubbles could hurt them but you see it really stir up the fry tank. They have to swim constantly to not get sucked into the airstones current.
