Suction cup not working

Have an old marine land power head and the suction cup doesn't seem to work anymore. It falls down and creates a huge crater in my sand bed! What can I do to stop this?

Replace it if its detachable suction cup.

had same prob got some marine epoxy now it never moves ,
just hope it don't burn out now lol
