So through research I found that denison barbs like to have a current to mimic their natural habitat. Any suggestions on a good powerhead for a decent price? tank is 60 gallons with a sand substrate(if it matters). At worst I can always get the big store brand version.

I run 2 cobalt 900 in my 55 they create a nice current but if you have small snails or plant debris it get caught in one of the kinds of intake screens they give you. The other screen works well tho. They're about $30-$40 each

Keep calm and drum on

If you want quality look at Hydor.

If you want cheap but effective look at SunSun.
