Looks nice. I lose between 1-2 gal a day so, I had to have an auto top off. I originally used a 20 gal tank as my sump but it was all one chamber and I used a small plastic bin as a baffle. This helped since the whole sump was effected not just the pump chamber.

My current sump is a similar design to what you have but capacity is 24 gal. I have 2 floats in the pump chamber to trigger water from my top off container. I would definatley look into a top off. Only way to go on vacation and leave you tank unattended :)

Thanks for the advice. Can you tell me how you rigged your auto top off? I'm thinking of just suspending a 2l bottle upside down ino the water so that it replenishes when the level drops, but your descriotion of floats sounds even better. Did you purchase it or design it yourself?

Thanks,
John
