Sump

I have my skimmer set up in the refugium section of my tank is that ok to do this I have live rock in there along with cheato algae was going to add 500ml of phytoplankton is the skimmer ok there or should I move it to the main tank wont fit in any other part of the sump thanks please advise on this

in the refugium will be fine however it could affect your pod population. definitley better to put it in there than to have it in sight in the display tank though imo

Skimmer is a deltec mce600 so not to bad on the back where would it have the better effectiveness thanks for the reply
