((I know I misspelled "bumps" in the title. I blame autocorrect since I'm on my phone))

I just got a male halfmoon Betta and on his body, near the gap between his caudal fin and anal fin, there is a bump on both sides. They're symmetrical and don't stick out all that much. I only noticed them due to the lighting. I'm keeping him in his own tank for now before I put him in with my otto cats. I don't want those little guys to get sick too.

Does anyone know what it might be?

Here are some picture of him. I'm on my phone, other wise I'd point them out using Paint.

Here? It's normal. All my boys have had that.

Yeah, that's the spot.

Oh really? I must have missed them on my last one. Ok, whew, I LOVE his colors and was going to be really upset if they were a sign of something deadly.

I'll leave this open for a while longer and see what other people say, but I'll delete this thread later today.
