Aquarium Advice Apprentice
45 gallon corner tank, 25" tall. Should I run an air stone along with the HOB filter? Just not sure about oxygen levels at the bottom of the tank with height. 
Tank oxygen question.

If the hob is has plenty of flow, and agitates the surface well, then there's really no need to run an airstone. If you want to run one it won't hurt anything. I have no air stones in my tanks and the only time I use air pumps is for sponge filters and emergency oxygen issues.
