So sorry, I have one more question I forgot to mention. Since I have well water, there is no need for me to add anything to it before using it for the tank, right? I can just put in straight in? Thanks so much! It has been a while since I had a freshwater setup and am used to saltwater.

Many of the conditioners also remove(or what ever?) heavy metals.
So there is more then just chlorine/chloramine to be considered.
I new here; what water do you use in your marine tank?

We have a well too. Most recently I have been using Stress Coat+ by API for my water conditioner.

And coralbandit is right; there is more than just chlorine and chloramines to consider!

:)

Perfect! Thanks coralbandit and dragon14!

coralbandit- I use RODI water mixed with the salt mix in the marine aquarium. :)

I have well water, for now, and i still use just because of heavy metals as mentioned by coral

Huh, at my fiance's house she has a well and we haven't used water conditioner at all. Should we be? We've had fish doing well for the last 6 months since we've set it up (the only losses have been poor-stock platies)

Depends on the area. If youre having luck then dont change
