This snail is?

What's up with this snail?! Everytime it gets on the move it sprouts these little anemone looking tentacles . When it's stationary it's shell is a normal glossy hard shell. But when it starts moving he gets like a weird membrane with anemone looking things on it's side???

appears to be a type of cowry. i'd like to see the shell when he doesn't have his "fur coat" on to figure out which cowry.

I believe it's a "snakehead" . I googled that name and it matched the pictures.

cool. supposed algae eaters. they do that with the furry covering to build their shell.
