Thought it was a sponge?

Little red sponge opened up with little tubes? Any ideas?

Still looks like a sponge. The tubes are the siphons it moves water through. It doesn't really have the look of a tunicate.
 
It's pretty neat. It was flat, and the tubes came out of nowhere.
 
It's just maturing to its adult form. It should keep growing in the form it has now.
 
Any Idea how big it'll get? I know it's a horrid picture. Should I be feeding it anything different than the normal filter feeders?
 
There is no telling how big it will get. The best thing you can do for it is keep your tank running cleanly, and never fully remove the rock from the water. It is bad for the sponge if it gets air inside its passages because it has no way to get it out.

These spontaneous sponges tend to be pretty hearty, and will likely sit there growing and consuming whatever floating stuff it can filter along the way.
