Tiger barbs

Debating on giving Tiger Barb breeding a shot, for something a little different. If anyone has any advice or has successfully bred them advice and stories would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

separate the males and females.
Condition them and fatten them up.

Then introduce 1 male & 2 females in a 10 gallon tank.
Use a sponge filter. A few short plants. Use marbles as substrate.
They will scatter the eggs and it will fall between the marbles.

Then remove them once the eggs are laid im assuming. Any other special key interest i should know?

I'm kind of thing about doing this too. How do you sex them?

Ive read the males have more red on the dorsal fin and nose while the females are a little paler and plumper
