I have no idea what they are. They seem to like colt coral. I think they may eat the coral, just can't tell and this is my first coral. They came with. LFS thought it was just a molt hanging on.

It was alive when I put it in the tank, then found a second one in the coral. This piece of coral is smaller than peanut with shell. Small one is penny sized overall.

If I'm seeing it right, looks like it's got an awful big claw for a little crab. Isn't that normally not a good sign? Big claw = probably something you don't want?
 
It looks kind of similar to an acro crab, but on a soft coral...? I never saw one of those before. As you said "snail", it could be eating the coral. Watch closely, and if I come across anything I'll post back.
