Whilst cleaning my 25L tank of tetras and 2 snails, i discovered thousands of tiny white coloured worms (no bigger than a cm and very very thin) that were almost impossible to see. They seemed to be in the gravel but when disturbed wriggled around in the water. Does anyone know what they could be and if they are harmful to the fish? All the fish seem fine. Thanks :)

Planaria. They are harmless but indicate you are over feeding and not gravel vac'ing enough. Feed less, do more water changes while gravel vac'ing.

Ok thats good to know. That would make sense as my other tank that has ground feeders etc which pick up excess feed. Thanks :)

This is what they look like, not attached to glass but in the water wen the gravel is stirred
