I live in the country and have all my water from a deep well with no chemicals added at any point is a rodi unit still needed or is it pointless for my uses?

Yes most definitely I also live out in bfe Florida lol but in well water are trace minerals that could cause problems algae blooms and what not, I travel an hour to gainsville fl every 2 weeks for ro water and have now decided to buy a portable ro/di system to filter my own so I can cut out that trip
