To rinse or not to

I purchased Caribsea brand sand from petco, it says no rinsing needed just add to tank. Should I follow their instruction or just the rinse in buckets to be safe?

Pretty much always rinse/wash..it doesn't take long and is well worth it.

The Caribsea brand I have needs to be rinse very well. Even when you rinse it very well it will be cloudy, so do very small amounts

I bought the no nee to rinse and didnt rinse it within i wanna say 6-8hrs it was clear.. then i bought the regular sand that said to rinse and rinsed 1 time it took less time to settle and have clear water.. guess i was just lucky

Definitely rinse. I used it for my 10g and whenever I do a water change, it would be cloudy for an hour.
