We have a 30 gallon tank with live plants, guppies, mollies, platies and danios. With all the plants of course came snails and they seem to be taking over the tank.
The entire tank is covered in tiny little new snails. We clear a lot out each time we clean it but just can't keep up.
Is there any harm having so many snails or does anyone have any magical solutions for stopping the invasion? Lol

I don't think there's any harm, except for the eye-sore. However, if your snail population has exploded so quickly, it may be that you're over-feeding your fish, giving the snails lots of fuel for procreation. If they're a smaller type of snail, like Malaysian Trumpet Snails, for instance, you can add some assassin snails, which don't eat enough of the pest snail to eradicate them. You can build a couple snail traps with plastic or glass jars with plastic lids. Simply poke 3-4 holes in the lids large enough for the snails to get through, put a few pieces of food in the jars, and sink them in your tank right before lights out. In the morning, the jar should have several snails in it, perhaps dozens, which can then be destroyed. Or, you can get 3-4 Yoyo loaches, which will have all your snails gone within a week or 2. However, Yoyos can potentially get fairly large, and may soon outgrow your 30g tank.
