I just bought a marineland penquin 100 biowheel filter today, and ...... ITS SO LOUD!!!! does anyone have advice or help at all? Thanks guys

My advice, take it back and get an Aqua Clear HOB filter. I hated my bio wheel filter.

Have u tried taking it apart to see if the impeller is position properly.? If u did then I agree with mr limpet change it for a Aquaclear they are the best HOB IMO

They are loud, I had one... Mine didn't last very long either. AC's are definitely superior IMO
