This is not a hitchhiker, I did that to get views because no one was viewing my other post. What kind of Hermit Crab is this? Is it an Albino Hermit maybe? I found pics of white hermit crabs on the internet, but nothing like the one I got. I got it straight out of the gulf since I live near the beach.

It might be that no one on the board knows. According to Wikipedia, there are 1100 species of hermit crabs and I'm not entirely sure any of us is a specialist in hermit crab taxonomy.

If you Google "Gulf of Mexico hermit crabs," you'll come up with some photos. Looks like Paguras pollicaris to me. AKA the grey or flat clawed hermit.
