Water change

When I do water changes I always end up with some sand in my bucket. Should I throw it out or put it back in?

That's what I usually do to. I was thinking though if u always throw it out, won't u eventually run out of sand

What is the thinking behind throwing out the sand versus putting it back into the tank? Is it too mixed up with detritus and crud or something? Just curious...

Just rinse it good in RO water and you can put it back in.
