I had ONE and within a few weeks I was fishing it out with a net. It spreads quickly but IMO not a nuisance like duckweed and Salvinia.
@Brookster - Did I send you some and did it survive the trip?

Water lettuce? Not sure, I left the whole bag in room temp water, had my first cannister moment.. i will investigate further later.. i started with one piece and now the whole top of my 5.5 is filled. Grows very fast.m
