Water spots...how do I get rid of them?

First off, I have a palladium so the tank is half full. Numerous waterfalls have created many water spots on the surface of my front glass. I want to know if there is a way to get rid of the hard water spots without taking everything out of my tank. Right now, I only have plants in the tank if that makes any difference.

I was thinking of vinegar and a scrubbing pad. If a little gets into the water, I can do a PWC. What do you guys think?

lemon juice works better.

Lemon juice and worse case scenario scrape it off with a razor blade.

How well does lemon juice work? My water spots are pretty bad....and by bad; I mean that in certain spots, I can hardly see the plants (or anything for that matter) above the water.

Really well in my opinion. some spots may take a bit of rubbing.

By the sounds of it you will need to scrap it first.
