We have NITRATES!!!

Hi everyone

I just wanted to say hi and invite you to share in my joy of finally having some Nitrates in my tank!

I have been religiously testing for the last 20 days to keep my fishies nice and happy (I took the red pill...) and last night I finally saw nitrates.

The end of the daily water changes is in sight!!

I got the fish about 3 weeks ago, and been seeing nitrites for the last 2 weeks. Its sad how excited I got when the Nitrate test started to go red....!

That's wonderful! Ours took about 20 days too! That's so exciting for you! Hurrah!

I was over the moon when I saw the nitrites go to 0 finally! Then it was all yay from there You're not alone, I was way too excited haha!
