Hi I heard from my friend that his cousin was cleaning his tank his finger got infected to the point wear they had to cut his arm off:$ so I was wondering what gloves are reef safe?
CleverBs said:You don't need gloves...just stick your hand in there the worst that could happen is you will need to put some anti bacterial cream and a bandaid on a sting. Most things will leave you alone and remember most animals are more afraid of you then you are of them. Just be gental when you are in the tank to keep your fish calm and you shouldn't have any problems. Yur arm won't need to be cut off because of anything in a typical saltwater tank.

If one is prone to picking or biting off hang nails, or anything that results in even the smallest abrasions or tiny cuts in the skin, I'd suggest a habit of wearing gloves virtually all the time. I've done pleny of work in my tank with bare hands. Just gotta be aware of the skin or nail conditions you're dealing with at the time.

How does that work? TB is airborne, not fish borne.
