Weird oscar fins!

Hey all! You might have noticed from other posts that I work at my local pet store!
I have another question!

We have 2 normal tigers and 2 'albino' oscars for sale and one of the albinos fins is interesting!

As you can see by the photos his fins have a black pattern to them, I don't think its disease or rot since he is very active!

I wanted to know your thoughts on it

Its normal and will probably away as it matures

That's completely normal - i've seen plenty of Albino Oscars with the same pattern, don't worry.

They are referred to as 'snowflake' albinos- they, unlike true albinos, have the genes for black pigment. Though the black may fade in some areas it will never go away. My 14 inch orange lutino snowflake still has his black fringe- especially when I feed foods high in carotenoids and other color enhancing foods... His pectoral (I think) fins look like butterfly wings with the orange and black
