Weird snail

Weird snail I hear it’s normal for snails to come out of the water periodically but since I’ve bought my snail six months ago it seems to preferred living on my lid of my tank not even in the water is that normal? If it is I have a snail that I can’t even see ever and it’s rather retarded to me that my snail lives on my lid.., never to be seen
The other fish in my tank seem to be doing fine and two-other snails I have (each snail a different breed) of course the other two snails live underwater just perfectly and have never came out of my tank …that’s why I can fused as to why my one snail never comes out of the water

Is the tank top snail a Mystery Snail /MS?

If not, what kind is it?

Often MSs want to go out of the water for laying eggs.

What are your water parameters?

In agreement here...lift the lid entirely and see if there are white clusters of eggs, about the size and texture of a small blackberry. Those would be mystery snail egg clusters. Unless it's another type of snail - what type is it?
