So we've noticed that a few snails have gone missing recently and today we saw this weird orange worm eating one.

Does anyone know what this is?

A bristle worm

The bristle worm was most likely eating a dead snail, not killing it. Bristle worms are great scavengers and are a good clean up crew member. They gave me the hee bees at first, but now I don't even jump back when I see them crawling about :) I have seen the next to snails, small shrimp and my goby and no harm was done.

Im trying to post a pic but for some reason im unable to upload it...

I have seen a bristle worm in my tank but this thing is really bright orange. Much brighter than the bristle i saw. Even the little spikes on the side are vibrant in color.
