What are these??

Does anyone know what these white spots are on my driftwood? They seem to be becoming more numerous, and they do not come off with my siphon, or by being brushed with a toothbrush.
My tank is planted, and I have ghost shrimp, ramshorn snails, and I have occasionally spotted ostracods/seed shrimp. I have fish too but I suspect they may be coming from one of those three things.

Snail eggs, you can scrape them off - but they can become a right pain.

Aghhhh my ramshorns are so small I didn't think they could reproduce yet. Thanks for the info though!
