What freshwater fish can i put in a 46 gallon bowfront

I want one blood parrot but more fish with it too , so what fish ( not tetras or danios ) can be with one ?

I kinda want an african cichlid tank , but I would only want one each , so do you know any pretty but not aggressive cichlids ? And would a blood parrot be able to be in their or would it eat the others ?

The Africans would probably kill the parrot.
