What goes well with discus

I agree, unless its a breeding pair - sometimes 4 will work, but 5 is always better.

Red Breast Acara work really well with Discus and I've seen Apistogramma's also work really well.

Cardinal tetras and cory cats both go well with discus. They can tolerate the 82 degree temp. and peaceful.

How big are your tetras and cardinals?

I had large schools of Rummynose and Cardinals with my discus for months...then they decided they made a great snack! It all depends on the size of the Discus and the tank mates
