What is in my tabk (repost from FWGS)

(this is also on getting started i didn't know where to put it) Ok iv been cycling for a few weeks now. And everything is fine now. Ammonia at 4ppm (just recently got it there) and everything is fine. But now there are 2 of these worm things swimming around in my tank and idk what it is. It what to do.

I feel ask if I'm going have to start over and just dumb all 10 gallons out and start with fresh water... I wouldn't want to do that.

Yikes, wish I could help but I have never seen that before. Can you get them out and flush them? Creepy little worm!
 
They remind of detris leeches. Not the blood sucking kind! I've seen them before but can't put my finger on where. I agree, take them out and just watch for others. I found a single worm in a new set up once and that was it. Don't know where it came from or what it was but I just removed it, watched for weeks to be sure I didn't see any more, and that was it.
 
I've had mosquito larvae in my tanks before they are wormlike maybe look that up and see that's it.
 
I found out what they were. They are flat worms. They are harmless! Just more food for fish. They appeared from non eaten food
