What is this and can it be planted on driftwood?

I need this identified and tell me whether it can be "adhered" to a piece of driftwood. It is rather large and the driftwood is only 15", but I might try my hand at it....
 
Yup, definately an Anubias. Those dont like to have the rhyzome buried. Either tie it to a rock or driftwood (it will eventually attach on its own), or position it between rocks to keep the rhyzome above the substrate.
