Hi

I found this white nudibranch on the glass of my tank this morning. It is about 5mm (~1/4 inch) long. Can anyone tell me if it's friend or foe?

Thank you in advance

If it's on the glass it's probably fine. Usually nudis look just like their prey. Just keep an eye on your corals and see if you spot it on any.

Hi Sniperhawk

Thank you for your reply. I have nothing that resembles the nudi in my tank. I have read that they take on the colour of what they eat, so wondered if this is just a young one that hasn't yet demolished my zoas!

Thanks for the advice about the nudibranch, it has now been removed. Merry Christmas.

No problem. Not sure where that post came from... I'll manage it, but keep on the nudibranch. If there is something in there that they do want to consume there is a chance that there are eggs already in it. You remove the adult and you will find another.
