what kind of catfish is this?

just got a catfish from my freind. its body looks like a shark but its eyes are huge and pop out kinda like a hammer head shark wanted to find out the name of it? i dont got any pics yet sorry

Probably an ID shark (pangasius). They grow to 6 feet in the wild.

Without a picture, it's hard to tell. From the description, I'll second the iridescent shark ID.
