Yep look like pond snails to me. I'm infested with them. Get rid of loads every time I clean and I swear as soon as I've put everything away another hundred seem to appear.

They are amazing cleaners.

Usually are a problem with over feeding. I am an over feeder, but have been reforming. ;)

They seem to really explode with flakes food. I use pellets from Hikari and haven't had a population problem. I was worried when I got some in my tank on a driftwood I had been soaking in my pond. They are pretty and such good cleaners.
