What Substrate Would You Go With For Planted Aquarium?

I sorta did a half black sand half river pebble kinda thing. It doesn't look quite as good as I had hoped, but it's still neat and other people seem to like it.

I ended up picking the 20lbs moonsand black stuff, I know not a choice up there but you guys did help me make my decision and thats what it was about. Thanks guys :D
 
I'd definitely choose tahitian moonsand over flourite black sand. :D I don't like the flourite sand....its way too dusty and every time you disturb it you get a cloud of dust.....but its that way with regular flourite too.

No nutrients in the moonsand, but it will look good.

I ended up ordering the moonsand :D. Can't wait to put it into my tanks.
