what sort of maintenance are you looking to do? Lighting? ferts?

I would suggest you start with low light plants. You won't need C02 injectors and minimal ferts if at all. Light is iffy though depending on what you have on your tank now.

Water sprite is a great beginner option. Not only does it survive in low light it will even have some noticeable growth. Fry also love it.

Cryps, java fern and most anubias are low light plants.

The thing is they may or may not do well with your current lighting. I certainly wouldn't expect a lot of growth with your lighting and would be prepared to probably need to upgrade your lighting some.

Well i was thinking about buying some ferts and maybe a co2 system or maybe il just do a diy co2.
Heres a pic of the tank and light
