What should a reef tank

Alk be at? 7.5 is where mine hovers, is this too low???

I hear it should be 8-12..but it is all anout your own system. Mine is around 7.2-7.5 and does well enough

8 to 12 ten being sweet spot. But like was said every tank is different best test is observing your tank. Healthly fish growing and opening corals.mine was 5.6 I use sea water which is at 7.3 so I'm dosing and keeping it at 9.8-10.5the more lps you have the more is used.
