Found this little fellow in one of my tanks tonight. What the heck is it?

Dragonfly larvae maybe? I have no idea how he got in the tank. I assume he might have been living on my guppy fry and/or snails. He looks mean, like something from a sci-fi movie.

LOL, he does look mean, lol. It may be a dragonfly larvae. Good camera shot too.

Dragon Fly larva, almost for certain. If it is big enough, it will eat anything it can catch inculding fry.

I have a notion that this is why all my cherry shrimp have disappeared.
