Kinda looks like water sprite, but the leaves are much thinner and yellow looking.
Tank: 25 gallons
Temp: 78
Fish: 9 penguin tetras, 1 male betta, 3 cory cats, 1 otocinculus, 1 bristlenose plec
Lighting: bml dutch planted led light
Ferts: flourish comp, N, P, K once a week
Substrate: regular sand
Other plants: amazon sword, jungle val (not growing well), anubias, java moss, java fern
Co2: none

They are growing well, but have brown and yellow leaves.

I don't know anything about that light, would you say you are low, medium, or high light?
Is it new or old growth, if it is new growth it could be iron deficiency.

My guess is due to the yellow leaves it has an iron deficiency. You may need to dose iron as well as the Comp. Water sprite is a nutrient hog and the Comp isn't supplying it with all the iron it needs.

How old is the tank? Brown area's could be diatoms. If you rub the brown area's does the brown rub off?
