what type of skimmer... sump or HOB

i am going to DIY a sump. would it be better to get a sump type skimmer or HOB. also, please provide ur recommendations on brand and model. this will be for a 75gal tank.

I would do an in sump skimmer. They are stronger than the HOB versions. I would look at the Aqua C EV 120 or 180 for a 75 gallon. The Euroreefs are nice as well but kind of pricey!

I just picked up an Aqua C EV 180 at captivereefs.com. I have no personal experience with it yet, since its still on its way to me. I did a fair amount of research and its pretty well liked.
