Hi,

Found these brown root like things growing from my plant, half way up the leaf. Was wondering if anyone can fill me in on what they are for sure.

Thanks

Those are baby ferns. These plants multiply producing those mini leafs with roots.
When you see the roots growing longer, You just need to cut it or separate it from the leave and then you will have a new baby fern

Oh cool, so are the brown things the actual roots and I can transplant them now or do they look like they need to wait a little longer?

I will wait, just because they are still little, but ferns reproduce fast. The ferns don't even need to have the roots planted in the substrate. You can also attach them to a rock or to a driftwood if you want.

Ok cool I didn't know that, still new to live plants. So about how long do you think they need to get before I try transplanting?
