What's on my urchin?

Just got the tuxedo urchin over the weekend. Wondering what these disks are on top. I don't see them in any of the photos/articles I find online.

Looks like it picked up a couple snails or shells

Those look to be the little trap doors snails close behind them. They have a name that can't remember. Looks like Turbo doors to me. Lost a few turbos over time?

They used to be snail bits but now are a nice piece of camo

Evidently this dude likes his camo! I pulled those snail bits off a while back and he has rearmed himself. This time it blends in with the tank alot better .
