I just received my new finnex ray2 30". I am going to set this up tomorrow. My current setup is:
36 bowfront and planted with microsword, Anubias Nana, Cabomba, Java Fern, water sprite and Cryptocoryne with 1 amazon sword. My tank is moderately planted with these plants. My substrate is 40lb of generic black gravel and 20lb of eco complete.
i do 5ml dose's of flourish complete twice weekly
Since this light will most likely put me into a medium light setup, will adding some excel work until I can get a decent co2 system? I really do not want to get some system to get me by for a couple months. My plan is to get an aquatek deluxe with a 10lb tank. but this will be a few more months away since i promised my wife i would stop spending for now.
