TL,DR- What type of snail is this? The picture washes out how bright orange the lighter spots appear in reality.

Here's the full story for those interested. So, my old 20 gallon freshwater hospital tank was neglected, overgrown with algae. My native pond snails of course bred, and the fish were eating all the babies, so I saved a few to let them grow in the hospital tank. Well, that population collapsed, and they all appeared to have died. Over a month or two later, no signs of life, I decide to use it to start some water plants that I'm hoping to use either outside or in a planted axolotl tank in the future. I dig up a few of our yard plants that can thrive in a bog. No snails seen. A few weeks later, I get a donation of some aquatic type plants from a local lady. Stick em in the tank, growing fine, no snails seen. Few weeks later, my husband returns from the garden center, all excited because aquatic plants were on sale. We stick one of the bog plants he got in the tank. 5 days later, we see this guy crawling on some ivy. I'm assuming he came from the garden center. They don't sell snails there. My biggest concern is if he is a non-native species. He's free to live in my plant tank if he wants, but I don't want to introduce any friends he has hiding to the outdoors when I move plants around. We're in eastern Kansas.
