Which Skimmer?

Hi,

I am in the market for a Protein Skimmer for my tank. I have a 55Gal tank that has 30KG of Live Rock, Hydor Prime 30 Cannister filter and an interpet hang on tank filter (I know they are nitrate farms, and am weaning the tank over to the Live Rock keeping the Cannister for Mechanical filtration).

I have been looking at the Remora range, which seem to get rave reviews. I was wondering will the Remora be sufficient, or should I look at the Remora Pro?

Unfortunately you can't by the Remora in the UK. Are there any other models to consider?

Welcome to AA!!! I am usingt an Aquac Remora skimmer in my 75 gal. It works wonderful. So i'm pretty sure it wiil be sufficient for your 55 gal as well. Just be sure to get one with an MJ 1200 PH.
