White mark on ropefish?

Ive had this ropefish for about 2 weeks and noticed a white mark on his side within a day of getting him in the tank. Any idea what it is/how to cure it??

looks like a scrape. any sharp objects in the tank? what are the params?

55 gallon tank, just had water tested today and all was good aside from nitrates, so I did about 20-25 gall water change.. Nothing sharp that I can tell. Right now theres 2 small oscars (about 1 inch) and 1 tiny cichlid (about .5 inch) and one other ropefish in the tank. All behavior is normal and they're eating fine. Nobody seems to be aggressive or being picked on. Just wondering if the mark is something i should be concerned about.

It is possible he had the mark prior to bringing him home and we just didnt notice right away.
