White stuff growing on top of my plant?

Looks like hydroids.

But are they considered a threat in a tank?

Not really a threat, but they can sting corals which may be near them.

I guess its not an issue for now right or they also sting snails? My tank, as of now is only composed of LR, snails, macroalgaes and pods. No
